Why Become a Member

More than a roster — a brotherhood

Membership in CBMM is a commitment to one another and to the young men we serve. Here's what it offers, and what it asks.

Mentorship

Stand beside a young man through the Paul Robeson Institute — and stand beside seasoned members who have done this work for decades. Mentorship flows both ways.

Brotherhood

A fellowship of men of different backgrounds and disciplines, united by one shared vision. Unity, shared goals, and mutual growth are the foundation of everything we do.

Community Impact

Your time and presence reach families across Greater Boston. Membership turns good intentions into consistent, week-after-week impact on the lives of young Black men.

A home base for members

Members and coordinators sign in to manage events, take attendance, review applications, write session recaps, and track donations.

  • 📅Session schedules, event RSVPs, and the year's calendar in one place.
  • 📄Member resources — meeting notes, committee documents, and the membership handbook.
  • 👥A member directory to find and connect with the brotherhood.
